Do Follow and Lucia’s Link Love
Wed, 02 Jul 2008 15:40:48 PDT

They found the blog lab on a do follow blog list and all they want is a link. Just this past week I had three different link backs come into three of my blogs because they were on “The List” One called this list “A Marketer’s dream!” Well it might be a marketer’s dream but it can be a nightmare for you. CBC Newsworld was covering the flooding of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and either unable to send their own reporter because of budget cuts or in need of American instruction on how you cover a major TV story these days, they opted for a live feed from NBC News. The NBC Reporter was parked on the banks of the once placid Cedar River with the flooded city in the background looking suitably dour as the CBC Anchor intro'd him. But as she asked her
Some fur for thought

I recently met with Sandy Blye, founder and president of Blye Media relations, a PR agency with a focus on fashion and luxury lifestyle. As former head of the Fur Information Council of America during the animal rights movement, and currently the organization’s agency rep, Blye was able to touch upon the historical events and social trends that have influenced the fur industry and, in effect, her PR strategies. In the late 80’s and throughout the 90’s, Blye’s crisis communications strategy was

Wed, 02 Jul 2008 14:15:23 PDT
I think the potential “new” Democratic base is becoming clear at last. Or at least the base for the GE. But let’s look at what we got, shall we? 1) A fascinating piece by David Brooks at the NYT includes information about some of Obama’s heaviest donors, not by individual, but by class and work sector. He sees some interesting trends. (more…)
