I’ve been looking around for a while trying to figure out the best way to get my music from my home server to my HiFi. For a long time I used an old laptop and just streamed stuff using Windows Media Player, took the output from the audio out socket and plugged it into my HiFi, not pretty and low quality. But having to fire up the PC and wait for Windows before playing air guitar to my favourite Pink Floyd track (Comfortably Numb if you must know!) was getting in the way of enjoying my music. I

At BrickCon in October, I learned about the Halo-inspired weapons and the M1 Garand rifle that Will Chapman of BrickArms was working on at the time (see First look at new BrickArms weapons). Last week, I received my shipment of new 2008 BrickArms weapons, and I’ve been eagerly building and waiting for a break in the snow (!) to take pictures. It’s another week, and we find another Aussie outfit sitting at the top of the ARIA charts. It’s so great to see Aussie music fans embracing our local artists! Electro darlings The Presets have debuted at number one with their second album Apocalypso. The Sydney outfit has managed to keep fellow Sydneysiders Cog from the top spot. Their newie, Sharing Space, has debuted at number two. Cut Copy are still enjoying chart success with In Ghost Colours. It’s climbed one position this week to sit a

Following up on last weeks story on TSR about the arrest of CNN personality Richard Quest is news that he was found with more than just drugs, as originally reported. He was busted in Central Park early Friday morning with some drugs in his pocket, a rope around his neck that was tied to his genitals, and a sex toy in his boot, law-enforcement sources said. Quest, 46, was arrested at around 3:40 a.m. after a cop spotted him and another man inside the park near 64th Street, a police source sai

Here in the United States of Israel, "nationalism" is the dirty n-word, and Jews have taught our countrymen to be ashamed of it.
